A title block is a template for a sheet and generally includes a border for the page and information about the design firm, such as its name, address, and logo. The title block can also display information about the project, client, and individual sheets, including issue dates and revision information. In the Attribute Definition dialog box, set the attribute modes and enter tag information, location, and text options.
When you are prompted to select objects for the block, include the attribute in the selection set. An attribute is a label or tag that attaches data to a block. Attribute tag name. The challenge comes when you want to use fields. Fields are variables such as your name or a drawing scale. AutoCAD then prompts you to choose an insertion point and optionally change the default scale factor and rotation angle.
