Using pdf in iweb

Your email address will not be published. View Results. The content should be something that easily hooks your visitor to wanting to download the file. The content of the download itself also needs to be good. Make sure the content is your own.

Only use the work of others if you have express permission in writing to use their content in your work. Most word processing, spreadsheet and presentation apps export to PDF as an option.

Thanks so much!!! I really appreciate any help. I think you want to create a hyperlink. Thanks for writing, xstep. Okay, but you understand I want people to be able to download a.

Or a word. So you're suggeting a link to the page where that document is? And at that page they can download the document? Please note I have iWeb enhancer, so if i need to enter html I can.

I also have Dreamweaver 8, although that gets a little out of my league! Thanks again, I look forward to your reply. The link as I first described it will not go to another page, but straight to the file of interest.

When I did this as a test, the original copy of my pdf was on my desktop. When I exported the iWeb page, it must have copied it and created the proper link. In Safari a normal click will load the pdf into the browser window because Safari has a way to display it. Other browsers often have the ability too. People can right click on the link to load it to their home machine.

I'm with bluehost who offer HTML formmail scripts. If I create a form using the formmail script and redirect it to my computer, you say that the info would be as secure as sending a PDF via snail mail If the organisation blocks online forms, then I assume it will block a formmail script. I'll have to look into the database side of things. Not sure if I need that facility at the moment. How can an organisation stop anybody from filling in and sending an online form that's on a website accessible from the internet?

I don't know how they do it, but they do. I contacted them and the IT person I spoke to clearly explained it was for privacy reasons.

And I understood. So yes it happens. It is a government organisation, and my website is not blocked, but the online Google docs form is, as is payment via PayPal. Because the people work for the government and they provide the computers and the log-in portals, then I suppose they can control anything they want. No Idea. But if the person went home they could fill in a form on their home computer for sure. Sometimes the government needs reminded that they work for the people and not the other way round!

Question: Q: Can I imbed a fillable pdf form into iWeb and have it submitted to my email?
