Good thing for Auburn, he has the talent to do so. Oregon is simply not as battled tested heading into the BCS Championship game as one would expect from such a powerhouse. Their closest win was a two-point victory over California in which everyone thought the blue print was developed on how to stop the Ducks. They were wrong, as Arizona and Oregon St. Auburn, however, bested five ranked teams this season.
Their most impressive win came in the Iron Bowl against Alabama when they won The most important thing to take away is that the Tigers, in each and every game, found ways to win. Oregon rarely had to figure that out as they cruised through the season, for the most part. Auburn has been one of the most resilient teams this season, somehow coming back in most of their games to stay undefeated on the season.
It started against Clemson when they were down at half. They scored 21 points in the third quarter and won the game in overtime. The following week against South Carolina, they were down at halftime. They outscored the Gamecock in the second half to stay undefeated. On the road against Kentucky, they gave up the lead in the third quarter and won on a field goal with two seconds remaining.
Auburn took a lead over LSU with just over five minutes to go to seal the victory. Their win over Alabama was easily their most impressive win of the season. Auburn trailed going into halftime. Their BCS Championship hopes appeared to be fading.
Yet they outscored Alabama in the second half to take the improbable victory. Those are six wins this season that Auburn needed to comeback from behind at some point in the second half to win the game.
Is it possible that Cam Newton could recreate that magic a seventh time if they fall behind to the powerhouse Ducks? It is currently the highest selling Switchfoot song, and is No.
Also, "The Sound" shows up again on the broadcast during a montage. The game has entered halftime. You might want to tune in very soon. However, halftime is over and it appears we will not be seeing the full music video. Posted by Job at PM. That's so crazy that Switchfoot is all over this game! Can't wait for the actual video though, should be awesome!
As for the new producers, I hope they give the album some more 'ummph', but still keep the Switchfoot sound. I still dont think that all of the acoustic songs that Jon played in his aftershows will make Vice Verses, but i guess we'll see this summer.
There's a lot of talk swirling around Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh and his possible return to Michigan if that job becomes open. Is it a distraction for Stanford? He's shown the you can build a winner at a school with high academic standards. His team will no doubt be a big favorite to win. A win here would make everyone forget the early-season thumping by Boise State. This is a great matchup between teams from the power conferences, and there's always that ongoing SEC vs.
Big Ten debate. Does anyone really need a reason to watch this game? They may need to bring in a basketball scoreboard for this one. Quite simply, you have two fast-attacking, high-scoring powerhouses, irresistible forces on offense.
Something's got to give.
